Generally speaking, estate sales are not handicapped accessible.
Most estate sales occur in the home of the estate owner. And, as you are probably aware, most homes are not completely handicapped accessible.
Yes. We are required by law to charge Texas State sales tax.
Estate sales hosted by Attics to Basements typically run Thursday to Saturday. All items are available on Thursday when the sale opens, but the best deals can be made just before the sale closes on Saturday.
So, what is the best time to shop an estate sale?
When looking at the Attics to Basements web site, I would like to find out which items are sold.
Do you mark items sold on the web site or is there some place I can look?
Unfortunately not. All sales at our estate sales (and most other estate sales, as well) are final.
Yes.
Children 10 and over are allowed into the estate sale. But, they must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Just about anything you can think of can be found at an estate sale. The range of items is almost unlimited. The items found at each estate sale depend on the personality of the owner as well as their interests and hobbies.
While staging an estate sale, we evaluate each item and place a price tag on most. We want our customers to know the price of each and every items at our sales and this is the best way to do that.
There are a few exceptions to this for low-cost items like towels and linens which are a fixed price per item. In these cases, a price list is posted nearby.
If I purchase a large piece of furniture, will you load it into my car or truck? Or, will I need to bring someone to help me?
Unfortunately, we cannot help load large items into your vehicle. You should plan on bringing additional people to help you with very large items.
Is there a way to get advance notification of your estate sales?
Yes. There are several ways we attempt to notify our customers and there are several things you can do to be sure you are notified of our upcoming estate sales.
